The first in a new series of Abstract Seascapes I am currently painting.
The painting is a contemporary expressionist landscape. It is painted in oil with initial glazed layers and latterly more spontaneous oil is applied directly with a palette knife to enhance the vibrant colours. The artwork is painted on a high quality stretched canvas which includes additional supporting stretcher bars which can be seen on the reverse of the canvas. The artwork is signed on the front and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
